FAQ

Honest answers to common questions

Most firms dodge these. We figure you deserve a straight answer.

How much will your services cost me?

We quote by the scope of work, not by the hour. A bookkeeping setup for a small Ontario business runs differently than quarterly tax filings. We tell you the number before we start, and it doesn't change unless you add work.

Do you work with freelancers or just incorporated businesses?

Both. Omar Lemonious sees the same tax code for a sole proprietor with three clients and a corporation with thirty employees. The compliance rules are the same. The paperwork just looks different.

Will I get a different person every time I call?

No. This firm is a team of one person. You deal directly with Omar Lemonious. He reviews every journal entry, signs off on every return, and answers your questions himself.

How long does a typical tax return take?

That depends on how organized your records are when they arrive. Clean digital files usually turn around in a week. A shoebox of receipts takes longer because it has to be sorted and reviewed carefully.

What happens if the CRA audits me?

We stand behind the work we file. If the CRA has questions about a return Omar prepared, he handles the correspondence and the audit support. That is part of the service.

Can you take over my books if I am behind?

Yes. Catch-up bookkeeping is common for new clients. We start with what you have; bank statements, invoices, receipts and reconstruct the records from there.

Still have questions?
